Nestled between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, The Hague is easy to travel to and from – both internationally and within Europe. The nearest international airport is Amsterdam, which is 45 minutes away by train.

There are several ways you can reach your new home in The Hague, depending on where you’re travelling from.

By Air

There are two international airports near The Hague:

  • Amsterdam Airport Schiphol – 45 minutes by train
  • Rotterdam The Hague Airport – 1 hour by train

By Train

The main station in The Hague is Den Haag Centraal railway station. There are direct trains from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and other cities in the Netherlands. It is also possible to travel from other countries in Europe such as Germany and France, with minimal train changes. You can easily travel to and from London via the London-Amsterdam Eurostar.

THUAS is a 15-minute bus or 10-minute taxi ride from the station.

By Coach

The coach station is located near the train station. You can get a coach directly to The Hague from several European cities including Brussels, Berlin, and Paris. See all coach information on the getbybus website.
