Progression Requirements

*Applicable from the September 2027 intake onwards.

To progress to their chosen Bachelor’s programme after completing the International Foundation Programme. studens must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Successfully pass all Foundation modules with a minimum of 55%
  • Meet the Bachelor’s English language requirement (IELTS 6.0 overall with 6.0 in each skill, or an approved equivalent)
  • Comply with THUAS’ Enrolment Regulations

English Language Support Included in the International Foundation Programme

  • Academic English taught throughout the programme
  • Test preparation and support
  • Up to two approved test attempts included in tuition fees

Already met the English requirement?

If you provided accepted evidence of the required English level when joining the Foundation Programme, you will not need to take another English test for progression, even if the original test have expired before progression.

Accepted tests are aligned with the Dutch Code of Conduct and include IELTS Academic, Cambridge English (B2, C1, C2), TOEFL iBT, TOEIC, LanguageCert Academic, Linguaskill, and Pearson PTE Academic.
