Steps to Becoming a Student
Apply
Apply via thehaguepathway.nl/apply
Application deadline:
- September intake: 14 July
- January intake: 1 November
Receive an offer letter
Usually within 48 working hours an offer letter will be issued.
Secure your place
Accept your offer by signing and returning the Acceptance Form.
Payment
Pay the deposit (half tuition fee) or the full tuition fee, along with the visa fee (if a visa is required).
Payment deadline:
- September intake: 1 August
- January intake: 8 November
Accommodation
Accommodation information is usually available in April (for September intake) or September (for January intake), with most options bookable in May and June (for September intake), or September and October (for January intake).
We recommend booking early, as availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visa Pack
The visa process starts in May (for September intake) or October (for January intake).
Once you receive the visa pack, fill in all the documents and return them within 5 working days.

Visa Application
Your visa documents will be sent to IND (Immigration Office) once we receive the full tuition and visa fee payments, the signed Acceptance Form, and the correct visa documents.
Health Insurance
Arrange your health insurance (mandatory).

Before Your Arrival
Read the Pre-departure Guide we will send you in August (for September intake) or late October/early November (for January intake) and attend the Pre-departure Webinar scheduled for the same month.
Start Studying at The Hague Pathway College
Induction week: mid September or early January
Academic year starts immediately after Induction week (exact dates may vary).
The Admissions process for The Hague Pathway College follows a number of policies, processes and procedures complying to the standards as described in the Dutch Code of Conduct of International Students and the English Language Test Requirements when applicable.
