Asala talks about her experience studying at THPC

Posted on: October 22, 2020

Asala started her International Foundation Programme studies at THPC in September 2020 and she will progress to User Design Experience Bachelor's programme at THUAS next September. She shares with us her experience so far. Read her story below.

The campus is astonishing, the teachers are always willing to help, and they always encourage students to ask questions. This creates a very open and easy atmosphere. Having a blend of both online and face-to-face classes is good balance. You won't get too tired of going on campus, or too bored with having classes online every day. You get the best of both worlds.

The city of Hague is very admirable. The nature is absolutely breath- taking. There are endless locations to discover alone, or with friends. You won't have to worry about getting lost. You can always ask the locals. They are friendly and always willing to help.

Before arriving, I was quite stressed about finding accommodation. But help is given by the college. Just being on time and having realistic expectations would be my best advice.

Of course, we can't ignore the current worldwide pandemic. The country and the university are taking preventative measures to help stop the spread of the virus.
